Prevention of Harassment - Members
Contributing to a Harassment-Free Culture
Length : 2 hours
about
Safety in the workplace is everyone's responsibility: we must fight harassment together.
Your union has made this issue a priority. Our atypical and highly competitive industry can foster abuses and discourage reporting of harassment. Job insecurity, the hierarchies between positions, the performance requirements, stress levels and fear of retaliation are the main factors.
AQTIS 514 IATSE offers free, interactive training to help make your work environment safe.
OBJECTIVES :
- Recognize psychological and sexual harassment in the workplace
- Know how to be assertive in stopping incivility, bullying and harassment
- Learn about the mechanisms for reporting bullying and harassment
In French only
IMPORTANT
At some points in this course, you will be asked to work in breakout groups. Make sure you have a space where you can do this.
PRerequisites
- Have taken the Initiation to Community Life course and already be a member of AQTIS 514 IATSE.
- Watch a 6-minute introductory video before the course; be a member of the union.
