Portable Fire Extinguishers

ABOUT

This course is for members who want to learn how to recognize fire hazards in the workplace and how to respond in a fire situation.

OBJECTIVES

The content of this course is practical. After completing it, participants will be tested on the following:

1.    Checking the condition of a portable extinguisher;
2.    Using the appropriate extinguishing technique, according to the type of extinguisher.

PREREQUISITES

• Have taken the course “Initiation to community life”
• Already be a member of AQTIS 514 IATSE.
