Length : 20 hours

ABOUT

Ever since motion pictures began, the profession of set lighting technician has been learned on the job, and every team operates in its own way. This course does not attempt to change this tradition, but rather to provide some sound foundations, so that new set lighting technicians learn some basic concepts of electricity, familiarize themselves with the jargon of the trade, and learn a few elementary procedures that are specific to it.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a set lighting technician, an assistant key lighting technician (best girl/best boy), or a gaffer/key lighting technician
