Negotiations break down between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP

We regret to inform you that negotiations between the AMPTP and SAG-AFTRA have broken down once again.

After 5 days of bargaining between representatives of SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP member studios, the employers have walked away from the table because they consider gap between their offers and the actors union's demands too wide to bridge.

The AMPTP argues that the union's demands would cost more than $2.4 billion over the next three years, which they say is unsustainable.
