Publié le May 25, 2022

On May 16, we signed a new agreement with the APP (Association des producteurs publicitaires). The collective agreement will come into effect on June 12 for a period of five years and will provide a 2.5% annual increase in the minimum wage scales.

Here are the agreement's highlights:

The numerous improvements:
  • Package for assistant directors including all meal periods
  • Weather contingencies are marked up
  • The pay period is reduced from 21 to 14 days
  • There are no longer excluded positions for advanced calls
  • 12 hours off after 16 hours of work
  • Update on the VTTV – Value of Transport Time Variability

Other changes:
  • Expanded the use of the grace period (the producer gets a 10-minute grace period, regardless of whether the plan has started or not)
  • Small and medium-sized productions (remuneration based on a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours or 10 hours, as well as a maximum crew of 15 technicians instead of 12)
  • Contractual clauses and use of personal credit cards
  • Premiums, bereavement leave and other standardizations
